Kate McNamara is a Clinical Nurse Practitioner in ENT. She currently works full-time in the Queen’s Medical Centre/Ropewalk House as well as covering weekend shifts here at The Nottingham Hearing Practice.
Kate is from Co. Clare in the West of Ireland and obtained her degree at The National University of Ireland, Galway.
She moved to the UK soon after this and worked in Health Care of the Older Person in Exeter for 2 years before switching to Vascular Surgery for another 2 years after moving to Nottingham.
Kate started working in ENT with a short break in 2018 when she spent 5 months traveling around the globe carrying out research on international nursing. She also qualified as a Non-Medical Prescriber at the University of Nottingham in 2018 – it was a busy year!
Kate enjoys cooking (and eating!), walking, reading, and playing the concertina
